I’d like to put a plug in for Young Dreams – Between Places. That was a big indie-pop surprise for me. Will probably be on my year-end list.
Washed Out. I’m really excited for that one.
It’s gotta be Random Access Memories. I didn’t get the backlash at all. Here are my top 5 though:
1. Daft Punk – Random Access Memories
2. Youth Lagoon – Wondrous Bughouse
3. Kurt Vile – Wakin On A Sunny Day
4. Chance the Rapper – ACIDRAP
5. Rhye – Woman
Confucious say, it is not the opinion one expresses, but the way in which said opinion is expressed, that leads to downvotes.
Yeah, honestly Gorilla Manor was decent and made Hummingbird at least worth checking out. It definitely exceeds those expectations though.
I don’t care what any reviews say, I’m going to be in love with a schoolboy when this comes out.
I mean, it’ll make me feel like a schoolboy.
I downvote you because the way you type sounds like a thirteen year old in my head. If you tried for some regular, decent discourse you’d be fine in my book. Just tone it down a notch.
The Behave Yourself EP was really fantastic, and I’ve always wanted them to reach that potential again. This could be good, but we’ll see.
“Dark Star” would have been my pick from The Information. That or “Cellphone’s Dead.”
