Most likely it was an employee of the court whose official duties include issuing court summons, such as a constable. Ber unlikely that it was someone privately hired by Mr. Bandana
Oh JEEZE I just looked up this show and there is nothing to actively defend, seems like these guys are awful. Still think Maus' critique of the sketch was accurate in a vacuum. Like listening to Mark Kozelek?
I'm pretty sure that when he said "I'm just too dumb" after giving an objectionably well stated and informed critique of the piece he was being sarcastically dismissive of the criticism.
NO. “Some things you must always be unable to bear. Some things you must never stop refusing to bear. Injustice and outrage and dishonor and shame. No matter how young you are or how old you have got. Not for kudos and not for cash: your picture in the paper nor money in the back either. Just refuse to bear them.” William Faulkner It's been a rough year...RIP Bernie thanks for the sweaty memories.
IM YELLIN FREE V NASTY TILL MY THROAT IS RASPY I BE YOUNG AND FLASHY I BE WHERE THE CASH BE...still loving that song
It was originally released as a TIDAL exclusive, but since nobody has that here it is.
Run The Jewels 2 and Coltrane live at temple
NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL DID NOT BEAT UP A BUNCH OF CHICKS!
I don't know that this is all so bad, having lived in major cities where you are bombarded by ads all the time is it so strange that they would show up in music videos. If it's extra revenue than hell it's extra revenue. If you are against this I hope to hell you actually bought the Avicii album and didn't just stream it on spotify whenever you felt like it.
I agree let's up vote the hell out of this one

Chubby Checker absolutely deserves to be in the hall. He may have beat the twist until it was limp and bloody (Twistin Round the Globe), but he practically invented novelty dance music, had 5 records in the top 12 at one point, has some great over looked early records, and was a hell of a performer. I saw him once at a County Fair and everyone, EVERYONE, in the audience was dancing 5 years to 80. Not many performers can do that.
I am absolutely loving this album, definitely one of my favorites of the year. I've agreed with all the positive reviews and features but no one has mentioned how unbelievably great the drums sound on this record. Definitely what pulls it together for me.
Man, if Jack White isn't cool anymore with the stereogum commentari who is? /Users/devinwitter/Desktop/images.jpeg
Motley Crue is on classic rock radio, Friends is on Nick at Nite, and there are Black Flag cover bands you can pay to see. That's it. I'm old.
Everyone here seems to really be hating on the Flaming Lips recently. I thought we all knew this was a pop band. They have created a career on a hit pop song and they've play with Justin Timberlake. They have a hugely entertaining live show that caters to an extremely diverse audience. They made a god damn christmas movie. I still love the Flaming Lips. But ya know we should all bow at the alter of Coldplay and be pissed that Wayne Coyne and company want to make pop albums, cover albums, and bad ass experimental stuff. Jack White can have 35 easter eggs on his new record, Wu Tang can sell one album for a bazillion dollars, god forbid the Flaming Lips want to release albums in gummy skulls. I guess haters gonna hate.
Absolutely love this album and definitely the Liars album I go back to most. Listening to it while laying in bed staring at palm trees on a glaring LA summer day is one of my favorite music experiences.
What happened to best music writing of the week??
wow, really? Song is slamming, video's great, and I question your taste and intelligence friend.
*is much better at beef. Don't count him out yet.
I've been thinking about this a lot this week. http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/charles-krafft-is-a-white-nationalist-who-believes-the-holocaust-is-a-deliberately-exaggerated-myth/Content?oid=15995245
Glad they're back to keeping it weird and heavy. I remember when they were touring as a 7? piece and their shows were always rowdy as fuck. Missed that energy when they slimmed back down, seems like its coming back though.
Point me to the coffee shop that's cranking Death Grips and Pallbearer along with Pink and Neneh Cherry and I will gladly move back to Central Mass.
I like to pretend that Michael_ posts all the comments on stereogum comment board under an array of different accounts and that I'm really just witnessing an incredibly disturbed individual keep up a conversation with himself about boners and indie bands and whether whining about shit is a valid job or not.
I'm not saying I'm not a button pusher but I push the sht out of those buttons. I push em and they stay pushed dammit. Madonna! Slavery!
Erykah Badu ain't nothing to fuck with
Wayne and Action Bronson should make a video
We can say anything we want about Lana Del Rey, but absolutely no one is going to believe you don't find her attractive. Hot might be her biggest talent.
If a song drops in the noughts but no radio stations are around to play it, did it really exist?
I'm really not shocked the crowd was heckling him, I mean they guys up there singing to a boom box. I liked the album and am excited about him but c'mon he's at a festival where presumably many people will not know his music and will be intoxicated and he brings out the big guns, his boom box. Then he gets all artiste sensitive about it, jeez.
There is average size penis syndrome?? FUCK!
