I think it’s just a weird thing to see a little kid, an old lady and some jolly bearded guy under the masks, as opposed to the competitive “bad guy” athletes that you might have pictured. I like it because it’s kind of subtle, in that it’s not just all old people or all little kids, it is instead this confusing array of oddities and the expression on Carrie Brownstien’s face perfectly captures that bizarre feeling.
