I was just about to write the same thing about “Here I Dreamt I Was an Architect.” One of my favorite songs of all time.
Nope. Where is Baby, We’ll Be Fine????
Yeah. I think “Cut You” is better. Whole album is solid, though.
Sonny and the Sunsets can do no wrong.
For real? That Sharon Van Etten album is amazing.
We Have The Facts!!!!!!!
And Independence Day.
Pitseleh is my fave.
I thought Wild Flag’s set was amazing. They translate so well live. Really bummed that I missed Cloud Nothings…I caught the last song and it sounded spectacular.
Wes Miles from Ra Ra Riot.

So happy to see Matt Berninger make the list this year…that combo of smoldering voice and snappy dressing get me every time.
I agree. I usually prefer Stereogum’s list, but this year it was Pitchfork for me.
Pretty sure “Pumped Up Kicks” came out last year, too.
I can’t reply on Stephen’s comment for some reason, but I’m pretty sure that “Pumped Up Kicks” came out in 2010.
Drake is shaping up to be this year’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
