I borrowed a Pono for a test drive a few weeks ago. After listening to Joni Mitchell’s ‘California’, I was amazed at the range of sounds that I heard. After coming down from the Pono high, I went back to my standard iphone/ten-dollar-buds/Spotify combo. I cranked up ‘California’ again and could hear the exact same thing.
