I am... saddened by this news. However, Ween has given us a lot of great music over the years, and I have to respect Aaron Freeman's decision. And now, I'm going to jam some Ween into my earholes.

I am quite surprised that the Junior Boys "It's All True" did not make this list. The album is solid and easily deserves a top 5 position, as does Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.'s "It's A Corporate World." These two groups have delivered true album experiences, not just a few singles with a bunch of filler. Your omission of James Blake was appropriate, as his release was exactly what I just described: a few singles (amazing tracks, granted) with a lot of filler.
