The thing is Bob and Bruce seem to enjoy performing - and here's Pete, chortling at them for making music and doing their thing, all while he doesn't "like performing live."

I think that's the point of the line - kind of jarring to hear a beautiful chorus with great melody and for the meaning of the words to remind you of a very heavy truth.

Earl Sweatshirt being up there with Arcade Fire and My Bloody Valentine seems to say most people at Stereogum aren't over Odd Future. When you consider the Frank Ocean explosion, it becomes even harder to say that. Maybe you're right, that the Odd Future crew is on a downward trend while the unique talents from the crew are ascending on their own.

"I will see you in the next life" is maybe my favorite moment in music. It's all a lead up to that. An album closing (besides the end-end of song 10 on Kid A) moment that is a wisp of pure bliss. It doesn't get much better than that. There's a definite reason such a song doesn't make it on a list like this, but boy, it's still a great one. I agree with Mr. Chan.
