Okay I only have a few gripes…
1. James Blake’s album was soulful and was one of my favorites of the year and here it is being rated lower than joke-rap (I’m not even hating on DR).
2. Then there is the absence of Shabazz Palaces. I think people didn’t listen to that album enough, it was the most prominent example of a “grower” I heard all year, and it is very rewarding.
3. Drake is number two (lol, he’s number two). But for real… He’s here and Shabazz isn’t. Drake can’t even rap without drinking Sprite anyways. Proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mh6vHoyBs58
The song in the video is fuckin’ awesome sounding. Sounds like an appropriate intro to an album called “Reign of Terror”

Boards of Canada – Tomorrow’s Harvest takes the cake for me. I’ve listened to it only a handful of times, but each one was more enjoyable than the next!
