Lana Del Rey’s “This is What Makes Us Girls”. Yeah, I went there.

She’s definitely sticking to her persona; it’s a great video. Enough whining with the “she made this video already”. Interscope put those on the internet last summer to make her seem less manufactured. This is the money version– and it’s money well spent.

Alligator-infested swimming pools will be all the rage this summer.

Dave clearly has the hots for her and her scary Elvira nails. That said, glad to see she’s getting better live. I’ve been stan-ing this bitch so hard; it’d be a disappointment to watch her not live up to the hype. So far #1 in 11 countries is pretty decent.

Haters gonna hate. Wow. This premature evaluation is so off considering how this blog jizzed over her leaked songs more than any other music blog out there. Who wrote this article? Stereogum already LOVED 6 of these songs.

Born to Die, Off to the Races, Blue Jeans, Video Games, National Anthem (h8trs h8.), Radio, Summertime Sadness, Without You, and Lolita are all winners in my opinion. This is a pop album. She has mass appeal; Interscope wouldn’t be trying to polish the hell out of her if they didn’t believe that.

I’ve been listening to it all day. HEY LOLITA HEY will be played 100 times before I head out dancing this weekend.
