I was kind of disappointed with "Tomorrow Morning" (it's weird to hear E sing about being happy), but this album, sonically, seems to be the perfect middle ground between albums like "Hombre Lobo" and "Tomorrow Morning". Really can't wait for the new album.
Very frustrated that I haven't seen either Lambchop's "Mr. M" and/or Matthew E. White's "Big Inner" on any lists so far. Both of those albums are incredible.
I think what I like about this list is that even though it's "worst to best", the way the albums are being described make it sound more like "really good to really great".
All I know is that I got on the guest list tomorrow night for her show, so no amount of pointless anger and poorly-thought out rants can bring me down.
Steve Albini should just go back to talking about how he produced "Surfer Rosa" and the good old days of Shellac (it's what he's good at) and leave musicians, "professional" or otherwise, alone to do as they wish.
