I wouldn’t really associated ASG with this ‘trend’ of clean vocals. They have been making music like this for over a decade and have never cared what was going on around them. Also I don’t see a trend, I just think that the metalcore movement is pretty much over so other bands bands are gaining more attention after making music for 10 years+. Unless you’re Opeth, in that case they were just bored with straight forward metal all the time.
I can’t really tell what I think. First time through it just seems to long. I would’ve liked something more to the point, but we will see what the rest of the CD sounds like!
Not to mention the extensive use of whistles! Man, good times. Nothing gets me more jacked up then a sweet serenade of whistles, barking and DMX spitting violently, ‘ 1! 2! Meet me outside!’
For sure not as fun as their last cds.
I love where they went with Diamond Eyes, but it’s always got to be Adrenaline. Nothing else can get me quite that excited. : D
Cool, yea I agree with that. Sorry if I came of as challenging or rude, I just wanted to start a conversation :) It’s nice that the media finally caught up to their level, as well as others. Thanks for sharing!
