You guys should have a look at this article about why critics (pitchfork) hate Gambino. Actually a brilliant read and SO fucking true.
Lmao, I love all of this article/list!
Because The Internet is AOTW for me.
Seriously, I’ve never understood why pitchfork (and it looks like Stereogum too) has been so against Donald’s rap career. Some of the tracks on Camp are brilliant and the same with this new one, Because the internet.
WHAT IS UP WITH THE CHILDISH HATE?!
I swear she’s t lip-synching
I open the debate… The performance of New Slaves is the best rap performance of all time….meaning … OF ALL TIME IN THE HISTORY OF RAP PERFORMANCES, PERIOD
Good point, but so god damn pedantic.
Rudimental are killing that stage
The vid was released 12th of August, strange how ‘Gum has only just posted about it.
Shoddy vocals, Thomas, very shoddy vocals…
Why do people care that they are ‘aligning themselves with huge corporations’?! Does it make a difference to their (brilliant) music? Nope
I turned into the black preacher from When A Fire Starts To Burn when I heard it playing in the background

Twerk Miley, Twerk
WHAT JUST HAPPENED WITH MILEY. Sorry for the Caps but I’m in shock
*Scrolls down*…*Sees no MGMT*
Been following them since the top of the year, they really do make astounding music.
Btw DJ Fresh has already had 2 albums out.
Been playing this for a while now; slightly grating when I listen to it now.
I’ve never really listened/been interested to listen to a TOTR album, which one would people recommend?
I’m seeing them later on in the year live anyway, going to be fucking amazing!
I never thought I’d be saying this (especially regarding AlunaGeorge) but I agree with the Pitchfork review. I’ve been waiting for this album for about 18 months and it just didn’t live up to what I expected. I just felt like some of the tracks got slightly redundant (during my first listen). I’ve been reading some of the reviews of the album (NME’s) and they were casting the blame on George’s production but you can’t fault him at all; the production was slick as hell and perfectly suited Aluna’s unique vocal ability. Just as an album it didn’t deliver for me like I thought it would.
I’ve got to say though, bought the album earlier and gave it a spin, it did sound pretty perfect (on my 5th listen)
No, that link/YT clip is down. I’m in UK and can’t view it either.
