atoms for peace? thought they were releasing an album in 2012? no?

 +1Posted on Dec 13th, 2011 | re: SPIN's 50 Best Albums Of 2011 (38 comments)

can we discuss britney spears being on the list?

 0Posted on Dec 8th, 2011 | re: Digable Planets Reunite (5 comments)

still play their albums on a regular basis. really hope this happens. timeless hip hop. smart too. not as deep/disney as drake, but who is?

drake at #2 and the cosmos are just two things i will never understand.

we americans prefer governors of texas who assume the voting age is most likely 21, have trouble recalling their main issues, etc. a brilliant and completely original talented musician? naaah. nothing to see there.

that was my first thought. here come the down votes~

same reason you care enough to ask me that question. boredom i am guessing. i like to read things. sometimes i comment on them. even though i really do not care. just thought it was a great album, def not for everyone but odd they found so many albums better. oh well.

true that for the Take Care “omission” any list that has that album on it is dismissed significantly faster than those without it listed.

good call! so refreshing to have some rappish type music come along and actually be different than anything i have heard. should have guessed it would be coming from a dude that was in digable planets. STILL playing their reachin’ album.

always nice when they go “against the grain” until they do it JUST to go against the grain. do try and be unique with the list, but not to the point where you are forgetting the point is to name the top albums of the year, NOT how outside the box you can go with your list.

 0Posted on Nov 30th, 2011 | re: Uncut's Top 50 Albums Of 2011 (111 comments)

and just noticed the latest album from ‘girls’ seriously is not considered a top 50 of the year? come on. ohhh, that is why i don’t read UNCUT. makes sense now.

10 albums better than ‘helplessness blues’?? ummmm, no. screw everyone being entitled to an opinion. that album is amazing. half those albums ;isted before it, not so much. oh well. i guess nevermind about the opinion thing.

no, it is not some game changing art rock album. yes it IS a great album and nothing like nickleback. and no, the black keys are not “sell outs”. yes, they licensed a few songs to commercials and a tv show. is that so bad?? do these guys not deserve that? have they not paid their “underground dues” for years and years now? give them a break.

-4Posted on Nov 1st, 2011 | re: The 5 Most Ridiculous Kurt Cobain Costumes You Can Actually Buy (50 comments)

hate to be this guy and i don’t wanna be a dick, but is this article freals? i see 4 wigs. not 5 costumes that are ridiculous and for sale as advertised by the headline. why was this article written? and why did i click on it? oh well. (for + real = freal)

glad i’m not the only one who does the breaking bad “BITCH” thing. its awkward when the other person doesn’t watch.

0Posted on Nov 1st, 2011 | re: The Black Keys - "Lonely Boy" (35 comments)

of course their songs all sort of sound similar. just like any other good band, ever. that’s because they are made by the same band. i just never really understand when someone says “sounds all the same to me”….. of course when i hear a black keys song i can identify it as such, but they certainly do not all sound like the same song to me either. sorry/carry on now.

“we feel it’s important to stay current and keep on top of what’s going on” uhhh, or it could be more important to just stick to what you already suck at. i mean, jesus.

i bet i could throw a comment over them mountains

 0Posted on Sep 20th, 2011 | re: Thom Yorke - "Twist" (33 comments)

uhhhh, yeah. as a total radiohead/yorke apologist i must say this is about worthless. not even tempted to hear it again let alone download. oh well, 9 out of 10 is ok with me.

i would obviously use it to boost the signal on my att iphone4. or mod it into a time machine. does it come with the crystals?

 +1Posted on Feb 15th, 2011 | re: Bonnaroo Lineup 2011 (24 comments)

the lineup is good. people always hate on any lineup, no matter what. if you’ve been to roo you know its a good time. of course coachella and sasquatch would be awesome but the no curfew, byob and total atmosphere at roo is reason enough to go if you, even if you aren’t close.

if you dont like at least 10 bands on the lineup of each fest i really dont know why you would be on this site. feel like most of the haters havent been and probably won’t be at any of the big fests this year.
