It’s “nom DE plume” not “DU plume”, guys.
And didn’t they also use a “live” cover of a song by Don McLean that wouldn’t be release like 5 or 6 years after the events of the show?
Well, they had no problem a few years ago to use the friggin’ Decemberists for their season opening scene… so that seems a bit stupid.
Serious or ironic, this comment confirms all I think about OF fans.
Your shtick is just as boring as the band’s.
Yup, I did. Thanks, tho.
Meh. Video is fun, but the track doesn’t do much for me.
When is Kendrick Lamar releasing new shit so we can hear the real future of hip hop ?
Am I the only one who recognized Joe Haege (31Knots, Tu Fawning, and recently Menomena) and his wife Corrina Repp (solo, and Tu Fawning also) in the same sketch Isaac Brock was in ?
They were pretty awesome and I love their music!
Also, weird Armisen didn’t mention Carrie’s current band too. (And yeah, Menomena, obviously, what was he thinking! And 31Knots too then.)
Grooveshark FTW
I’d actually go for the far superior (in material imho) Songs:Ohia – Magnolia Electric Co., the last Songs:Ohia before the name shift, the production is stellar, and quite a departure from the kind of band Albini was producting at the time.
EPIC Image posting FAIL is EPIC. I’m going back to watching basketball.
Even if she hasn’t released any music this year, my indie crush will always be Jenny Lewis !

Why is this, and Cartoons and Cereals, not on the album Kendrick? Dope track nonetheless!
