you should not have allowed comments on this post. that being said, I was mad that White Light/ White Heat was number 10 until I saw that Sister Ray was number 1. i take back all the mean things i muttered under my breath while watching these youtubes.
My first intro to PJ Harvey was To Bring You My Love when i was in, like 8th grade and I remember thinking that it was an album written by a monster in the voice of the person it was chasing down and about to tear up and devour. But Rid of Me reminds me of my friend who, in a fit of late-20th-century teenage sentimentality, lamented “This is what girls feel when we break their hearts…”
