I actually got more of a Maude opening credits vibe from it.

Great performances but that is one unfortunate screen grab.

All the upvotes, Dylan. All of them.

Good review but is it really a Premature Evaluation if the album didn’t leak? Plus any Album of the Week pick is going to come off really disingenuous now.

I swear I feel like the only person outside of GvB who listened to Ejecta this year.

Kind of wish Supreme by Postiljonen made the cut but I guess A) it was released a bit too early in the year and B) isn’t widespread enough yet.

Btw this would be my hierarchy:

1. The Hot Rock
2. The Woods
3. Dig Me Out
4. One Beat
5. All Hands on the Bad One
6. Call the Doctor
7. Self-Titled

The Hot Rock is way too low. In addition to being one of their more intricate and consistent records, it’s arguably the one that’s aged the best.
