The Hot Rock, I mean.
Agreed. The interplay amongst members is intricate and stunning. The songwriting is top notch.
I actually think that’s the record that’s aged the best as well.
Just so everyone’s clear:
If you actually play in the league and get caught beating up your wife in an elevator (Ray Rice), it’s a two game suspension.
If you’re simply performing at an event for the league and make a blink and you’ll miss it obscene gesture, you owe a multi-million dollar settlement.
Honeyblood rules all!
Listening to Kitten now. Not bad! Kind of has a Foxes fronting Crystal Castles thing going on.
Great write-up. Great as this is though, I think I’m leaning more towards A Sunny Day in Glasgow for this week’s top release.
Little surprised the debut album from Fatima, Yellow Memories, wasn’t at least mentioned in the list of notables. Hypnotic, sexy stuff. Like Erykah Badu covering Jessie Ware songs and vice versa.
I actually got more of a Maude opening credits vibe from it.
Great performances but that is one unfortunate screen grab.
