I don’t understand all the hate. Baz is a visionary director with a wonderful appreciation for music, which is obvious in all his films. This should be nothing short of great.
I love this. Blending of documentary film and music that gives more meaning and interest to both. Just when you thought all the formats had been established, here this thing comes.

Revolver, White Album, Sgt. Peppers. The music of my parents coming-of-age became the soundtrack of my childhood (along with Paul Simon and Billy Joel.) We’re all so lucky to have this music.
This was such a tremendous show, what a bunch of pros. 11 years later and Dance Macabre still sounds fresh to death.
