You probably want to give yourself an open block of time if you're hoping to see 2chainz.....there's a good chance he'll show up late because he likes to Come Provisional.
I guess the argument can be made that the aesthetic has been done by Tame Impala and UMO, but man oh man I'm loving the Temples' album.
I've also never listened to SKM so I'll change that now.
This was the first album I ever bought, like REALLY bought with my own money. I also had one of the little Ernie dolls like in the album art and hung it in my locker in 6th grade. Needless to say I ruled.
We got a bunch of great albums from these dudes, and given how much Heaven was basically a testament to being a parent and enjoying time with your spawn, this news actually makes me happy. Go enjoy cups of coffee and the newspaper with your spouses, 'Men. You earned it.
"Lucifer" holds up surprisingly well. Can't believe this came out 10 years ago. I remember playing the hell out of this album in college, thanks for reminding me of my own mortality, sgum.
My final $0.02 on the whole thing. You write festival recaps for a blog you enjoy because it's an honor to be asked to write them, not to FINALLY gain some traction with your other music blog.
And that's all I have to say about that.
It seems appropriate to offer a loving memorial to Heidi the Cross-Eyed Opossum here.
