This song is massively bitchin’! My initial reaction was “Alicia Keys & Jack White?! What the hell?”, but this song has invaded my skull. I like Keys, but some of her songs can be hit or miss (love “Fallin’”, “You Don’t Know My Name”, dislike “Karma”) and I have slowly been feelin’ The White Stripes over the last few years, but I would never have imagined that the two of them would pair up to creat something this ferocious. It’s yoked-up, sexy, brutal but elegant, full of lovely surpises (his guitar skills are incredible and her repeated, one key stroke throughout the song is simply very cool), but rough ’round the edges…just like our current James Bond. (And yeah, I think that was very intentional.) Plus, they both look incredibly hot as hell in the video (they DO have chemistry), so, yeah, I hope they work together again.
