The album is awesome and it’s one of the most unique/progressive works I’ve heard in a while. I don’t see how you could even compare it to Little Joy. They’re not even in the same realm of music. Both are great in their own respect. As for the reviewer, he/she claims, “Most of the songs are close to (or over) 5 minutes and none end up where they begin”. Ludlow St. literally ends the same way it begins, so I wouldn’t give too much credence to their opinion. Bottom line: this album is really impressive and illustrates, just as each of the other solo albums did (except perhaps Nikolai’s), why the strokes are so good. Here’s to hoping they get their act together…in the mean time Julian better tour other places then just CA
