My list:

10. Greys Anatomy
9. Cougar Town
8. Doll House
7. House
6. 30 Rock
5. How I Met Your Mother
4. Breaking Bad
3. Bored To Death
2. True Blood
1. Mad Men

Seriously House should be on the top 10 it’s the best it’s been since like season 2-3. Breaking Bad shook me to the bone every episode. Bored To Death was a great show with very subtle awesome humor it just sucks that it was so short. And well True Blood and Mad Men def rocked TV this year. Man my Sundays were pretty awesome there for awhile.

Daft Punk – Discovery is #1 not freaking 34… Discovery was a revolutionary album! Nothing revolutionary happened in this top 10. This list is really kind of screwed because there was only one vote I think. The barrage of “I’m not going to take more then 17 seconds to think about this” entries is best represented mostly by Arcade Fire, Radiohead, and Animal Collective. Ten years is a long time and deserves at least a 10min jaunt down iTunes library/CD Book/Record collection.

Such a great year for music videos already buy… Wow video of the year? Maybe it’s just cause I’m in love with the song/her but that was just fantastic.

“This isn’t Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear or Dirty Projectors and thus, I don’t care.”
-average Stereogum reader

I laughed out loud to this.

As someone who has recently gone through Muse’s entire discography I can agree with pretty much everything that is said in this thread. Muse’s lyrics are god awful which they are 90% of the time. 90% of their music is stadium anthem ready. “Uprising”, predictably, commits both of these sentiments, with a dash of annoying political-ness. It really isn’t so bad when you ignore the lyrics but then again there are bands that produce songs that you don’t have to do that to.

Totally called “Heads Will Roll”. I think this was the best of all their tv spots for the new stuff so far.

Well I’ve never listened to anything Will Oldham has ever made but anyone who disses Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo (Yeah, the guy who’s done the most scoring for Wes Anderson) wont be garnering any of my attention/$$$. What a freaking idiot?

I bet you they’ll do “Head Will Roll” on Fallon. It’s the logical “See the rest of the album is just as good as this ‘Zero’ song you’ve seen twice now” song. Still crossing my fingers for “Dull Life” though.

They killed it. Best SNL performance by the YYYs ever? It’s Blitz! is becoming my favorite YYYs album. The indulgences, the addition of the disco synths, Karen O in that fucking hot leather jacket. I was hoping for “Heads Will Roll”, “Dull Life”, or “Hysteric” but “Maps” was the perfect choice for what was millions of people first introduction to YYYs. Next up is Letterman and Fallon right? So much exposure– they totally deserve.
