Kasabian made their best effort yet buty still it’s not album of the year.
In this year brits were obsessed with Kasabian the same way they did with Kings Of Leon and Coldplay before.
09 U2 – No Line On The Horizon
07 Muse – The Resistance
06 Arctic Monkeys – Humbug
Very high places for the worst albums in the carreer of these bands ! They often appear on the cover of the Q though, so it’s quite predictable.
The most obvious omissions in this list : The XX, Wild Beasts, Girls and The Flaming Lips !
Good to see that YYY last album got such a high recognition among almost ALL panels of critics !
It’s good to see that STEREOGUM moderators read comments – somebody already have advised them to lay out Q50 list – after the most ridiculous list this site have put ever – DECIBEL’s best albums of 2009.
Stereogum finally has rehabilitated !!!
