Lynchtastic, Could have used a horrifying scream or two though.
I’ll say this, at his worst, Ryan Adams is unfocused, messy, and inconsistent, and he likes to show this side a lot. But at his best, he’s possessed by the Gods.
Dude, latte hater? Come on.
Gah, fuck me.
You’re right about the whole trying to be alternative thing, nothing wrong with some expansion in your sound in whatever direction you feel. But good music? ahh
Smoke mushrooms, become mountain man, ravage forest, get burned by hot chicks. Alright.
Yeah I was expecting a little more than that but hey it wasn’t bad. The way Jimmy Fallon was acting though, it’s a good thing he was wearing those pants to cover his massive hard on for them.
Surprised? Come on, we all know Ryan Adams could kill it.
I don’t think the comparison is fair. U2 can and will continue to put out good music, I won’t argue. But Coldplay are starting to water-down their formula a little bit.
It’s like they could have this really good, interesting sound if they just pushed the envelope a little more. Till then, their earlier stuff will always be better, Always.
Since you were so enthusiastic about it, I’ll definitely give it a watch. But seriously, what was that?
All that swirly, nostalgic goodness thrown in a blender of nice, dark pop. This album just defined the word stellar.
Truest thing I’ve ever read. That’s what’s missing from so much good music today. It’s all so calculated like the artists just can’t stand the thought of their ideas getting hurt.
If he would just simply attempt to make good music without all of his gimmicks, I’m pretty sure it’d be good. Until then, why indeed.
Surprisingly a nice little ditty of a video, but raises the question of “What’s so wrong with shirts that Anthony Keidis will never wear one?”
It’s not bad, it’s just…Why does Andrew W.K. only get like 15 seconds? He could have been the best part of this.
I’m gonna go ahead and say I like it.
Hopefully, this is what the majority of the album will sound like, because Alan done good.
Ne-yo made this song. Never thought I’d type those words.
It’s not bad. I really like the direction of where the production is going but the music just doesn’t quite appeal me to the way his other songs do. Maybe it’s his voice, I don’t know.
This day just turned into the shit.
I’m more sad at the talent we lost than the actual person. But while I’m certainly not glad that she’s dead, it’s too bad someone else didn’t have her persona and voice.
While I will agree this song is well below par for both of these artists, did you by chance listen to Kanye’s new album? As ridiculous as some of the lyrics may have been, his talent for producing is far from uneducated.
I hope it’s a little more poppy honestly. Psychic Chasms was good but it showed more promise than anything.

Unfortunate, but this is going to produce some legit music.
