look forward to this beating out Tame Impala for AOTW... awesome Billboard article too, i went to a Michigan show on that Pretty Years tour and there were like 15 people there tops... felt awful for them but god did they still performed they asses off that night, Joe is a great talent and these tracks continue his awesome run
"Hot Chip will release their new album, A Bath Full Of Ecstasy, next month. It’s the follow-up to their debut album, Why Make Sense?, which came out in 2015."
They have 7 albums...
i have thoroughly enjoyed FlyLo, even Captain Murphy
for an LP that "reportedly embraces hip-hop, funk, soul, jazz, global dance music, tribal poly-rhythms, IDM, and the LA Beat scene" i just found it to be an odd choice to call it a lead single. this is an atmospheric talkie
I recall a Strokes/White Stripes double bill concert I went to at Clutch Cargos in Michigan in 2002. Easily one of the five greatest concerts I have ever been to, and I was 15. Still will never forget it
this was THE LP i listened to religiously through college... can still go back weekly to the whole thing, always a nostalgic listen
good girl/carrots was where it all clicked for me, and cemented my ridiculous love for all things Panda
this track is really solid imo... very promising first cut. i really hope this album can keep weeknd around as his own artist. would hate to see him just become a guy who does hooks in rap albums
this LP is gonna take over 2013, every song is phenomenal
looks like i might have to buy some bottles of champagne today
love about halfway through with the "?" lyrics haha
this track rocks so hard... didnt know Ty was owning the drum kit when the songs originally were released. a world with a lot of Ty Segall is a world i want every part of
a very blah album to me... also feels like january was a bad time for this record at least for me in michigan haha, seems like it could be a better spring record. still going to see him next week and i imagine it will be good
gotta agree with Corban, not feeling the back half whatsoever
throw the first 6 tracks on an EP and it would be straight fire. that or add the Good Friday releases
maybe im alone on this, but i thought LIVELOVEA$AP was pretty flawless... i still go back to that and Drake weekly
need more A$AP Nast and i needed it yesterday, real talk
what a awesome closing track, is there an auto repeat button???
trying to collect my brains and jaw from the floor... truly an unreal experience listening to that in this setting people. a fantastic piece of work, cant wait to listen to this 100s of more times.
New Town Burnout, Applesauce and Wide Eyed were standouts for me. but who we are kidding, they were all fucking great.
