not usually my cup of tea musically, but i really like it

it sounds like everything else out there. on their previous albums they had an energy, style, and sincerity that was unique to band of horses. on this song they seem to have abandoned that, for perhaps commercial success. it’s a lackluster effort from the chord progression down to the vocal style.
