Wait I heard they were going to be performing on the GG spinoff Lily.

I completely agree. It’s a pretty album don’t get me a wrong but that just doesn’t seem like a good enough reason for it to be number one.

Thao Nyugen is easily my new girl crush.

I’m extremely surprised to not see Les Savy Fav on this list. They were easily the best show I went to this year.

I’ve decided to read this just as a list and ignore the ranking system. A lot (not all mind you) of these people are on the same level and ranking them just seems silly.

When it comes down to all the pop singers on the list one might not appreciate their music but their vocal range is pretty amazing.

As far as Dylan goes he deserves to be on there. He might not deserve to be as high but his voice is interesting and a lot of people like it. Also go listen to Lay Lady Lay again.

So I just bought it today. I’m happy that I bought it but I can understand the argument that it is a little singles heavy. I also thought I Will Dare was an interesting choice for a Replacements song. Personally I would have gone with Unsatisfied.

I’m not the biggest fan of either song but, I think my real issue is that I feel the Killers just do whatever they perceive to be hot at the moment. I’m fine with people changing there sound I just feel like the Killers do it for all the wrong reasons.

How come every time a band changes their sound and people don’t like it the immediate defense is that they’re growing up? You can grow up to be crappy. Also this just sounds like they jumped on the whole 80′s dance wave that’s going not maturity.

I think it’s pretty hard to hate Conor these days.

I liked “Kodachrome” cover . He sounded like he wasn having fun while singing it.

Oh crap that comment was meant to be in reply to Sketch. Oh well.

It’s probably the most adorable thing I’ve seen in awhile.

Why is her clothing line most just things with her face on them? Who is she, Paris Hilton?

Well I was just waiting for “Very Loud” to be used for some sort of cheesy movie or tv show. I always thought it was going to be Scrubs but this works as well.

I fully agree that The Thermals should be on this list. I mean how you can have the line “pray for assassination” and not be on this list?!

Is it just me, or is he asking for an apology more than he is giving one?

I really enjoy “Old Enough” and a few other tracks. I don’t really think they could release a bad album but so as whole it’s definitely good. I just feel like some of the tracks are a little blah.

How unique and different of her to to attack at a reality show on MTV. I wish people would get over themselves and realize that some things are just for pure entertainment value.

How bored did the folks at Esquire have to be to come up with this list?

I agree with the switching of the left and right columns. I’m not sure why it just doesn’t look right.
