joanna newsom? broken social scene? menomena? foals? i thought the word was joanna’s new record might have been released this fall but drag city seems to be quiet on the matter

it’s not nyc’s fault that is puts out great music around the clock. what a silly thing to complain about. brooklyn, queens, mannhattan, etc.. who cares? nyc has been putting out great music long before indie rock. i for one am glad that so much amazing music is concentrated in one place. it’s called community and it’s a good thing, yes?

hey, lay off conan! i too have been offended by conan’s musical guests since he moved out west but i’m sure he has little if any control over who is on. and i hardly think that following in his idol johhny carsons footsteps by taking over the tonight show is selling out.. also, being in l.a. means that he is very far away from any real musical talent unfortunately. jesus, even fallon is getting better guests…

well, there is one band i know that has a focus on vocal harmonies AND they play their instruments*ahem, dirty projectors* for what that’s worth..
note- i really have tried and tried to like this band but they have greatly disappointed me at every turn but i am glad someone likes them. to be fair i know some people hate dp as much as i dislike ac so there you go

you are maybe jealous that you can’t feel the wonderful ecstatic-ness of this amazing record?? why complain about dirty projectors when i’m sure you have an endless list of horrible bands to listen to?
