did beck ever really go away? really?
i always thought this was one of the few of the beatles? late songs that actually were pretty collaborative - paul with his poppy melody and crisp bass line and john taking his drenched-in-reverb, more experimental approach. it truly highlights why both of them were so good in different ways. i didn?t think this one was really more john than paul?
this almost annoys me as much as jerry and bobby?s live vocals due - dissonant garbage.
i must admit that i do enjoy post-colour foo fighters, even though i know it?s not as groundbreaking as most fans would claim. on the other hand, die hard metallica fans are pretty much the most annoying people possible, as i learned seeing metallica twice when i was a young lad. furthermore, it?s pretty ridiculous to claim that dave grohl is the best drummer of the past 20 years. he?d probably slap you for saying that. at any rate, i?d probably give dave an hj in a heartbeat? srsly. or maybe not.
please folks, can we do some more name dropping. those long lists of electronic bands?you know so much obscure music; i?m impressed. that being said, you make a good point. this article is pathetic. there are plenty examples of acts recording and performing electronic music that are selling records and playing sold out shows. isn?t it more hip to listen to electronic music now than it was in the late 90s? i know i like it, and i?m cool as fuck. don?t make me spit out an obnoxious list of bands to prove it?
i love how uncontested boston seems to be. i do agree with the sublime call. electric six, perhaps? it?s tough to say, because i really enjoyed their first album, but once the other stuff came out, i felt foolish for enjoying them in the first place; their clever irony was turned into immature blah.
?nostalgically reminiscing the discovery that those were not women singing on sexy boy, but rather girly french men. oh it was glorious.
i think that pretending not to like something because it's popular is significantly more lame than only liking popular things.
