gimmicks are great and all, but its all useless without solid tunes. their last album really hasn’t aged well, but i hope this one has a bit more life in it.
wow,a nice departure for sure. wasn’t so sure about it at first, but it definitely grew on me with repeated listenings.hope the rest of the album is full of jammy indulgence, i always thought that Walla’s production was their biggest asset.
does that mean the people that have the new mmj don’t like it? Have you heard mainly good things or bad things?

seriously this is the best summer festival lineup so far. sigur ros? broken social scene? mastodon? zach galafinakis? quit being to hip to recognize that in the overcrowded festival season bonnaroo still reigns supreme

new album is great though, a tad overproduced but leagues better than her last one. sounds like she finally found her voice.
Kinda lackluster so far, but I’m sure the lineup will fill out nicely. El Guincho is quite a catch tho, I just don’t think its enough to convince me to trek to Chicago yet
the new songs sound incredible, this has quickly risen to the top of my most anticipated albums of ’08 list.

I mean, its ok and all, but this week was incredible for leaks and this one really didnt resonate with me. Tokyo Police Club and Jamie Lidell kill it, as far as I’m concerned.
