Yeah, to be perfectly honest, “Knife” might not even be in my top ten from Yellow House, and there’s only 11 songs. It just seems out of place on what is otherwise a perfectly strung together, sonic masterpiece. It’s a great song, it just seems like it belongs on another album, I guess.
I definitely never meant to accuse you of not caring about anything else in life, and I quite honestly know nothing of your personal life. I was just put off by the idea of berating a heartfelt and dissonantly tragic article in leu of self-promotion/affirmation/whatever….
I don’t think you should quit writing about music, because you’re obviously passionate about it and good at it. But I also think you should make a greater attempt at empathizing with others. I hope you take this as constructive criticism, rather than a personal attack, and apply it to your writing.
Michael_, I agree with your love for this festival. I myself attended and had an amazing time. HOWEVER, I can’t help but maintain that you are a complete sociopath.
There’s no need to be such a dick to the author of this article, who obviously had a rough weekend, just because you’re seeking further affirmation in your taste in music. Go write your own formal review, if you haven’t already, and take a minute to reflect on the people in your life that you have and love. I hope they mean more to you than this festival. They should.
I saw these guys open for Wavves last week. They were pretty good. Nathan said his little brother was in the band?
Where’s 셋, 하나는, 하나는?
Am I the only one who thought this was pretty obvious, though?
More like “for years two late,” right? ‘cuz, you know… spelling errors.
