i remember in my day when ghostwriting claims would have really hurt a MC's rep. but we can't bust heads like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to tell 'em stories that don't go anywhere - like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah: the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

"The way Young Thug has subverted hip-hop’s masculine norms is one of many interesting things about him" this is the same dude who makes videos with lots of guns and cash right? not exactly breaking the mold.

i actually consider Friction Baby to be a halfway decent album by Better Than Ezra. I saw them at a club in Danbury, CT back when that album came out. It was actually a fun show. i feel like i should be ashamed of this, but i'm not. as the kids might say #sorrynotsorry

February 27, 2015 on Kid Rock Doesn’t Get Beyoncé: Where’s Her “Sweet Home Alabama”?
"Where's her hit song that simultaneously rips off Skynyrd and Warren Zevon while pandering to people who like to fuck outdoors and who may or may not be smoking funny things?" something tells me 1995 kid rock would like to slap the shit out of 2015 kid rock...and vice versa.
