Find Me On:
I agree. The first time I listened to Real Estate, I wasn’t blown away because most of time they use the same instruments and sonic qualities, but their vibe is really intoxicating and easy to get lost in.
I think this list is some lacking Slim Shady material like the obvious picks “Rock Bottom” and “Role Model”, but I still think this list is pretty solid.
“Voyager” always gets forgotten :(
I really dig the production. It’s dark, sharp, and schizophrenic.
Is it just me or do these beats sound like a little bit like Death Grips? More like NO LOVE DEEP WEB more than anything though. It’s hard hitting, dance influenced, and synthy.
Chance’s personality is just great and I loved it since the first track. This mixtape is really solid.
Yeah, this beat was a perfect Soul instrumental. I think the beat was better than his verse though.
His performance of “Freedom” at Woodstock is hands down the most inspiring thing I have ever seen. After three hours of opening for the most legendary music festival ever, Richie pulls that song out. It’s magic.
This is great. Nicolas Jaar is one of my favorite producers out today and this just shows how much talent he has. I couldn’t imagine this sort of song remixed by him, but he did it really well.
THIS GOES HARD. Also a nice dark edge. These guys are just straight up brilliant.
Is it wrong that I’ve been listening to both the 15 second ads on loop?
Good list. I would put Heroes higher and maybe put Hunky Dory at #2, but I still agree with most of it.
I dig the verses. The hook is eh, but the beat makes up for it. Danny’s still spitting.
I don’t think Death Grips will learn a lesson from this. They just don’t give a fuck.
