Can people not be happy that Weezer has come out with a new album? Why do you need to feel like you know the meaning of it? We haven’t heard but one song. Get an f”n grip. Yea when Matt left the band Weezer was different. If you were a true Weezer fan you would appreciate the lyrics and the sound that they have produced and know that they have evolved. I had every other album BUT Pinkerton until five days ago. I love Pinkerton as much as the others. In fact I have almost played it out just because it is an album that I have not heard. I have been listening to Weezer since Undone came out on single. I was 13 and knew that this band was destined for awesomeness. Is everyone out there a music critic? Do you have the credentials to tell me that this album will suck? If you do and you have listened to it then hats off to you. I wish I was in your position. I wish I could be a professional critic. For you others that want to voice how bad Weezer sucks I beg you to listen with an open mind and be grateful that they have come back. How many bands do you know from the 90′s that have had this success? I can think of one and Weezer toured with them in 2005 (BEST SHOW EVER). We are in the day of emo rock and people only speaking of the once great bands. I think they deserve an award for being around this long when so many other bands turn to the commercial industry. They are thinking outside the box. Can you do that? Do you have at least 5 records that have sold and made a living out of it? I think not. For all of you that are true WEEZ fans keep on fishin’.
