Their live show at Pitchfork was one of the most symbolic and stimulating of the year. I have yet to see a band come forth with an intro by coming out of a digitial vagina. It’s an image I will not soon forget. Only the Lips can pull that off! 
They didn’t play any of the new songs at P-fork but I’m looking forward to seeing what they got to say with the new album!

I’m no hater but I’ll just be honest and say that the album artwork reminds me of the same recycled Four-window Beatles cover concept on Let it Be. Kinda of surprised by this. I would’ve like to see album artiwork that’s closer to what M. Ward did on his Hold Time album. Or something that’s a bit more creatve than this.
Fool’s Gold is very underated and have a lot more heart and creativity in the songwriting than many of the american afro-pop bands most people like today. Their debut album is one of my favorite of the year. I hope more people get to soak up their beautiful tunes and great backstory! Thanks for the mash up 411 !
