azealia banks is amazing
“Fortress” by Miniature Tigers was really good….I can’t be the only one who liked it.
I’m having Surfer Blood withdrawals because of this list, and Janelle Monae should be much higher than so, so many of those bands. Ugh.
I mean, their albums list is just totally fucked when you compare it to the singles list….
It’s really unsettling.
I fucking wish it was a typo. But it’s not. Teen Dream should be all up inside the Grammys but the Grammys are terrible.
Also, to somebody above who was outraged at no Janelle Monae, thankfully she is nominated twice, once for her album and once for “Tightrope”.

I’m glad Surfer Blood is at least on the list.
Teen Dream is a much better album than Contra, I also think that it should be number 1 so maybe i’m not being fair, but even Yeasayer should be higher than Vampire Weekend, in my opinion.
Also I kind of feel like Janelle Monae’s album was like a female vocals version of Plastic Beach. It is also better than Plastic Beach.
That was a cool stage show.
The whole “not a good song” thing was almost easy to forget.
Ok whateva whateva, it still makes you feel like you’re in a dangerous-ass chase when you play it in your car.

But really, I’m liking this album so far. I think this article was a little unnecessarily harsh. This is actually the first negative opinion i’ve seen on it since it leaked yesterday hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
