He’s recording/recorded a solo album with John McCusker producing.

Being a fan of the contemporary folk scene, I find this exciting.

Zeitgiest, while not perfect, does have a few crackers up its sleeve – ‘Bring the Light’, ‘Doomsday Clock’..

Shame there won’t be another studio album.

I actually do hope they record again with Avery. If they do, it won’t be ‘Strays II’ that’s for sure.

Good, but not great.

I actually thought ‘Zeitgiest’ wasn’t that bad – there are some really awesome songs on it – eg. ‘Bring the Light’. Shame about the drivel like ‘Starz’ and ‘United States’, though.

I agree with Kidgloves, it’ll be a while before we hear some new studio materal. I mean, look at how long it took to record ‘In Rainbows’.

I don’t know about it being their last album though. I’d say another couple, at least.
