Get Real, Get Right is my least favorite as well. I just can’t really get into it.
It’s crazy to me how he can add all these somewhat superfluous electronic noises and yet this album still feels more raw and honest then anything he’s released before. Blown away. The last 4 songs really make the album.

according to pitchfork they collaborated on “at least 10 songs”. One which samples Woods. Stoked to here the rest.
Really? Her verse was my least favorite part of the song. Overall pretty good though.

and now I need to go listen to funeral again to see what I was missing.
Honestly I didn’t understand all the hype behind Funeral. I like some tracks but it just didn’t live up to everything I was hearing. I tried again to get into this band with Neon Bible. The only song there I like was Intervention. Having said that this album has made me a fan. Yeah its a little long but it is truly a great album all the way through, both musically and conceptually.
No one should be allowed to touch this song. This hurt my ears.

I’ve been waiting for him to release some solo material ever since seeing Bon Iver last year. So excited for this.
Great song. This is the direction they should have gone with Contra.
So much better than anything on Pershing. Glad to hear they returned to making great music.
