In south africa among the traditional tribal culture there it's a rite of passage for a young man to go into the bush with an elder and perform a rite in which they do some crazy circumcision thing basically scarring the young man for life. if you don't go through with this, you are branded as an "evil boy". that line was a blast on the irony that these tribal people are VERY homophobic despite the fact that they take these kids into the bush to touch their junk. he was making fun of them.
