it didn’t work for me either and i’m in the us, look up the one on modest mouse’s channel and it should work.

I think either that’s some kind of layering effect on the mic or they used the backing track to make it sound more like it does on the record, with two voices singing.
Anyways, I still think they did an excellent job despite the fact that he was sick. Phoenix is a fantastic band live.

Although I think the original is better, I’ll admit I can’t stop listening to this. I absolutely love Zooey’s voice and Ward’s guitar is very dreamy and calming.
Personally I thought this was a great performance. Her voice in live performance has definitely improved.
