For christs sake, Corgan manufactured a sound, a genre – alien to anything within this galaxy – his body of work is beyond substantive. Mellon Collie encapsulated the spirit of the an entire era. Corgan should be canonized, worshiped, and honored for for the art he has produced . He is the closest thing to a superman I have seen… it is utterly profane – actually, repulsive, that we stand by narcissistic, self indulgent/deluded, so-called “artist’s” (Karen O, Jack White, Ben Gibbard, Paul Banks, Win Butler, Thom Yorke ? just to name a few) who have nothing to say of any value, while condemning an absolute genius for committing to alter a climate that stands for ineffectiveness, trivia.
