I enjoy AC but I'll be goddamned before I'll say they released four of the 50 best albums of this decade. Too much techonology is used for there brand of music, which makes them two steps away from 3oh!3
I am thoroughly sick of MPP receiving such high praise. Two great songs and one good song. The fact that the Phaseone remix of Daily Routine blows the original one out of the water alone justifies the sentiment.
First off, Late Registration came out in '05. Secondly, that's Kanye's second worst album. Finally, I am a lil wayne fan and I know he doesn't belong on any top album list of any year.
I have absolutely no interest in Jarvis Cocker's opinions or music. Most of the comments on this article are from half of his fans. The other half doesn't know about stereogum.
i'm a kanye fan but i don't give a good goddamn if someone rips him but south park is just so fucking hackneyed. It's not 1999. Aren't there enough bloggers ripping stars? Why do we need a cartoon ten years past it's prime doing it as well?
no way. it seems they the just used the musical formula that joy division and the smiths created which dates them and makes them just another part of that early alternative movement. NMH fucking rulez.
Yeah, I love the fact that dcfc got some major love. I just think In an aeroplane over the sea should have jumped Bee Thousand for the simple fact that it is a perfect album and it's fucking timeless.
i hate there sound and the band. I think they're the most overrated band in the history of music so stop trying to say there is no possible way to hate a band.
i'm just trying to point out the fact that the majority of people on this site listen to mainly indie rock. All they've heard is the carter III, which was a disappointment. Being that this is all they've been introduced to, they need to dig a little deeper and here his better music before they say he sucks or he is a piece of shit.
First off wayne has consistently changed his sound since entering the game, i.e. this rock album. Secondly how does race come into play at all. I'm just pointing out the fact that all these skinny jean wearing, converse sporting, Indie kids that only listen to radiohead are quick to judge a rapper that puts out something new every month. There isn't another rapper or artist that works as hard as he does. Doesn't matter if you like it or not, don't hate, appreciate.
Everyone is quick to hate on the best rapper alive. This isn't good but I'm sure some of the this album will be decent. All you indie fucks just hear the carter trilogy not dedication mixtapes or the drought/drought is over tapes, which are the best things to happen to hiphop in a minute. Stop that hatin' on a nigga, it is a weak emotion.
