Repeatedly, everyone here as gone on some bullshit tangent. The people who think Klosterman is trying too hard to be a hipster nerd rock individual please raise your hand. You have completely contradicted yourself. Hipsters and yuppie characters are the only people that claim to have multiple personalities and are capable of fitting into several categories of culture. I’m going to assume that everyone has read at least one Klosterman book (probably Sex, Drugs, And Cocoa Puffs) (for those who have only read one C.K. book, shame on you because you have not experienced his true genius). You are attacking a person for giving his individual opinion about albums and artists that HE likes and listens to. He isn’t telling you to adhere to his advice. It’s merely just a simple opinion. Respect it and only support it because you have only exacerbated the nations views on the mentality of today’s so called ‘hipsters’ and media friendly persons.
[And Maladroit was a decent album, Cuomo’s is a genius.]
