I’m with some you guys, differnt strokes for different folks.

WHat i think made ATTQM sound so amazing and unique was Isaac Brook producing it. I think I read that the WP boys didn’t like what he had them doing on that first album. SOO there will NEVER be something that sounds very similiar to that album.

Additionally, I’m also one of those guys who thinks “Is this it” the worst Strokes Album. I honestly don’t get why hipsters and faux hipsters think it was sooo amazing. I guess I had to be there when it dropped and not two years afterword. NO Song on “is this it” was better then me driving to college in my beater listening to Reptilla.

ALSO, Face Control was a POS. Sad but True and you all know it.

In regards to POST ATTQM Wolf Parade not being as good as Handsome Furs or Sunset. I think that Idea is some what true. AMZ took some time to grow on you but it was enjoyable in the end. The album that most reminds me of ATTQM is actually Dragon Slayer, which was pretty much all killer and no filler.

These two songs remind me of ATTQM though.

I’m happy to hear that UNLIKE, The National, Broken Social Scene, and the New porno’s they didn’t let me down.

…. and I’m a sucker for the end of the song jamming they love to do. June can’t get here soon enough.

I hate to say this… but that Music vid was pretty damn good and it’s for the strongest song on the album too.

I find it Muddy and regressive. They’re channelling old school National music.

Albums kind of Emo’ey.

A step down from Alligator and even Boxer IMO. I hope they don’t play too much of this when I see them in May.

I know home boy is a sad emo guy or whatever but jesus almost every song sounds like some sad sappy sucker shit.

Derivitive chillwave garbage. These boys should prob. stick to doing Pop Music.

This is a weak album in my opinion. There are a couple of decent tracks but it is a huge let down for me. IN fact 2010 so far has sucked at least two shades of ass already.

Lisa just doesn’t cut it for me. Her singing is banal compared to Leslie, Emily and the chick from Stars.

I don’t know who dropped the ball on this, Brenden or Kev.

I wish they didn’t spend all that time working on the Presents Albums and focused more on this. Oh well, there’s always next time.
