Thompson, there has been a lot of good hip hop in the last few years, but last year was a relatively shitty year for hip hop (with few exceptions like Undun). I think it’s silly to assume that just because this isn’t his main genre that other people will do it better. I’m sure people thought Damon Albarn was an idiot to attempt crossing genres, and that certainly turned out well.

Blackroc was a piece of shit, as was Goblin. If you start talking about A$AP Rocky or EARL MF SWEATSHIRT or even Curren$y you can go fuck yourself because I’m a huge hip hop fan, I just also happen to be a big fan of production.
