Never really watched this show, but undeniably one of the slickest opening credit sequences of all time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqvsUs-iQvg

It's because the mystery was the only thing going for it. I watched the entirety of Twin Peaks again recently, and was reminded just how packed it is with great characters, an interesting setting, and an engagingly offbeat vibe - all of which The Killing lacks. (In honesty, I gave up on The Killing midway, didn't see the finale, don't care to anymore) And yeah, while the Laura Palmer mystery is a great macguffin, its resolution does seem to take some steam out of the remainder - like if they forced the creators of Lost to explain the Island early into the second season.

Have we really gotten this far into the Hunt without Natural Born Killers?

Troy is a must. I distinctly remember sitting in the theater on opening night, and after 10 minutes thinking to myself. "Wow... this dialogue is clunky, the acting is pretty weak too... oh my God, it's Bad. And there's still 2.5 hours left."

Brutal, uncomfortable, very difficult... it's also the most underrated of all Gilliam films.

KIDS easily makes my all time least favorite list, but Ken Park and Wassup Rockers would both make for funnier write-ups.

Agreed on Running With Scissors. Even as a HUGE fan of the book, I can't defend that one in the least.

Wait, you did call The Brothers Bloom the poor imitator and Charlie Bartlett the good one?
