I'm not american so I don't get half (any) of the jokes above BUT I saw the picture of an Applebee's "restaurant" and i wanted to react since I first ate in Applebee's during my first trip in New York (and America) few weeks ago and it was absolutely DISGUSTING so if I had to see a movie about Applebee's, I'd like to see a documentary about how so much fat can be put in one burger

It's always nice to surf on the videogum at work but my co-workers fail to see how a cute duck and boobs (by the way, whose celibrity these boobs are?) may improve my work (while it's obvious that they do)

I like you videogum, really i do, but if in real life, every single word you say would be over analyzed that way, it would be hell. In gervais's post where some might see pretention or i don't know what, i just see enthusiasm. (Sorry for my english, i'm just trying)

Only, I'm not sure it wasn't the reaction expected... But I agree, the homophobia also seemed more in the audience than in the movie for me last night. Also, please explain to me why it is funny that a guy has sex with a prostitute the day before his wedding?

February 10, 2011 on Nerds Talking Into Headsets While Playing Video Games Should Be A TV Station
As somebody who works in IT, I have something to say here. As far as i'm concerned, in real life people talking about video games all the time is NOT funny. People (GEEKS) who spend their lives on starcraft or world of warcraft are NOT funny. And most of all, working (living 9 hours per day) surrounded by these people is NOT funny AT ALL. It's just HELL.

Sorry, but writing from a country where guns aren't sold to almost anybody, I don't agree with the fact that no one is to blame for that. Sure, madness and crazyness happen sometimes and there isn't much to do about it... But at least don't give it a gun...

My hope in humanity makes me believe that this thing that i've just seen happened just out of bare stupidity without any cynicism or self-consciousness. Or else, please, please burn in hell next year humanity.

Bad aspect of being a french videogum reader with low skills in spoken/written english: I can't understand half of pop/cultural/political/whatever references here. Good aspect of being a french videogum reader with low skills in spoken/written english: I have no fucking idea of who this justin biebers is... And I can get all the cats related threads...

August 4, 2010 on The Poster For Joaquin Phoenix’s Mockumentary Is Surprisingly Tasteful For A Movie That Is A Fart Prank
I liked the ending too. Not that I, or anybody, really needed it to wonder if it was still a dream or reality (it was obvious from very early in the film that we would end up wondering it) but it made the movie complete. I "wooh"ed at it, not out of surprise but because it was just what it was supposed to be, giving us enough space to think about how awesome were the 2.30 hours which led us to it. Also DiCaprio and Ellen Page (who really looks like my girlfriend and who is pretty) were perfect.
