Gruff isn’t the only one with side projects: Dafydd released an album earlier this year with his group The Peth (including some semi-famous Welsh guy who I had never heard of) and Cian has the Acid Casuals project, which is frigging great but has been dormant for a while.

Anyways, I’m eager to hear this new album. Hey Venus and Love Kraft were both great. SFA OK!

Ladyhawk shouldn’t have an ‘e’ at the end. Otherwise I don’t think there are any flagrant giveaways…

OK, am I reatarded or is it really hard to get the clip to play on the linked site?

Can someone offer a tip or two? I clicked on the Vorhoeren link and all I got was a Vorhoeren popup that gave me ZERO SOUNDS.

Yeah, SFA and Gruff are totally family-friendly. *cough* http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Man_Don%27t_Give_a_Fuck *cough*

Anyways, I’m a big fan of SFA and his solo career, but I find Stainless Style pretty hit and miss. The video is meh but I like the transition from song to song half-way through.

Seriously, who dressed that bass player? Also, who is that bass player?

Yeah, he fucked up the lyrics, but he was able to laugh it off. As everyone else should. It’s one of the mightiest jams every penned and he was a big part of it. Of every living being on the planet, he’s the most entitled to playing it live. Enough said.

I think what Radiohead did with this model that no one else had done before was make a truckload of money and generate enough buzz about it that even people who pay no attention to music have probably heard about it by now. While the online release itself was nothing special, the media ramifications that have Walla’s panties in a bunch are quite out of the ordinary. Seems like he needs to look at the big picture.

It’s not a vagina, it’s a ribcage. That’s the kind of answer clever people give to shitty journalists who try to put words in their mouths.

Believe it or not, I had pretty high hopes after hearing “Pork & Beans”. But this stuff… oh wow… this stuff is just fucking garbage. The second song on video #2 is REALLY bad.

This sounds pretty good so far. Better than any of the side-projects since the first (technically second?) Sunset Rubdown album.

What the hell is with the lack of love for the Stone Roses’ “Second Coming”. As far as I’m concerned, it’s their only album. Their first one pales in comparison. What’s the deal? Breaking Into Heaven, Ten Storey Love Song, Tightrope, Love Spreads… that album is chock full of awesome cuts. Why the hate? Is it because of the one hit wonder? Who gives a shit, it was a great album.

I’ll never get over the first time I saw the “complete” Stone Roses and it was all shit from their first album. I always thought it was some weird Brits vs. the world thing where they held the first one aloft because they were the ones who FELT it before they got some recognition across the pond, but you know… apparently I was way out to lunch on that one.
