You know, being a BIG fan of Conor and all of his music, it’s really fascinating to see how much of himself he puts into his songs, so much that some of what he says are almost quotes of some of the lines that he’s written, especially about not being able to stay in one place, and not knowing quite what is real. Further, what he says about not seeing himself as really different, but having learned, to me is also reflected in his music; with stuff that he wrote about himself in 2004-05 still being true in 2011, and in that the way he writes is still clearly very similar.
