Mike Patton’s rant must have crawled under the skins of the other two. Didn’t know he was that influential. Hey Patton, I have a few other people you should smack talk on YouTube. Start with Cornellbaland.
Sound problems? Man, that is unfortunate, dear ‘Gum. Everything sounded amazing from where I was standing. I’ve seen Prince several times now and this was mind-blowing. Here’s a link to the Creep cover my girlfriend taped…from earlier in the song and less jumpy (forgive my WOOOO!).
The birthday girl in the second video looks kinda like Cat Power…and therefore, hotter.
The fact that Patton’s “best often sits flush with the worst” is one of the main reasons why I have been a fan for about 20 years now. Nobody has straddled that edge more consistently while maintaining a prolific yet interesting career. Also, “Everything’s Ruined” might be my favorite song on Angel Dust…and this video might be one of the worst videos ever made. Thank you for posting.
