Sigur Ros has raised the bar in my opinion. I mean, their music is totally its own, but from the last album to this… the bar has been raised. Quite enjoyable.

Can I just want to see Pulp? Even though I’m nowhere near California, I still would like to see Pulp. Can they tour near my town? Ever?

I have a soft spot for Fiona in my heart and my ears. I seriously hope that this new album is well received by the people. It always amazes me when an artist is off the scenes for so long, and then comes back with a bang, almost as if they haven’t been missing for so many years. I just hope she tours near Denver. That would rock my world.

Is it me, or do the lyrics to LDR’s songs seem a little bit tongue in cheek? I mean, I like her music, I admit it, but sometimes I can’t take her songs seriously because I think she is making fun of people, namely all of the people who are involved romantically with each other. It’s kinda funny.

I sort of like the tune, but I’m much more of a Sleigh Bells fan when Alexis Krauss is shouting in my face. I like that version of the Bells best. However, I’ll give this song a 4 out of 5 stars because it’s new, and lord knows Sleigh Bells have been sort of flaking on the new for a little too long. I’m anxious to hear more.

I just think that she is really hot. Call me crazy.

So, I was just told by my students that that puppet is none other than Elmo. I told them I couldn’t tell when he was not in profile, and he had those glasses on, sort of a Clark Kent thing. One retorted with, “So, if I was wearing glasses you wouldn’t be able to tell it was me?” which I replied, “Are you a Muppet?”.

That picture of Elvis and random hipster Sesame Street puppet is going to become my desktop picture ASAP. That sort of made my day.

What you call ridiculous I call life. Happy, sad, happy, sad, and weird. Ahhh… life.
